A “Shock Loss” After FUE Hair Transplant

Usually, after an FUE hair transplant, one query pops up in the patient’s mind, “will my hair start falling out shortly following the procedure?” You should not worry about this happening, it’s completely normal. Only 5% of FUE hair transplant patients suffer from this issue and it’s temporary. This has never been a symptom of bad hair transplantation; rather it’s a typical side effect.

When some hair falls 3 weeks later after the FUE Toronto, you might be distressed. Clearly, losing hair is not the target, and given the considerable investment made in a high-quality hair transplant, patients caught off guard may be understandably upset about Toronto hair transplantation.

    Causes Behind The Sock Loss

After your treatment, you return home to heal and relieve stress and collect a few basic scalp care tips. This includes contact limitations (no touching) and reducing infection risk (no swimming, baths, or hot tubs).

A hair transplant patient recovers very rapidly with minimal incisions under ideal conditions after FUE. Much fewer traumas and incisions mean quick recovery in 3 to 5 days. After a few days, the extraction sites close off, and the sites of the recipient tend to look inflamed with slight swelling.

Once the inflammation ends, most people come back into their daily working and live after the first week. So, there’s going to be long and inevitable waiting for your new hair. Several months need to pass for follicles to cycle through natural growth stages after the FUE hair transplant due to natural hair growth processes and to show satisfactory results.

Is there any other cause of hair loss?

Telogen effluvium is a broad-spectrum type of hair loss. This doesn’t correspond to a specific pattern, as do others. Instead, it happens all at once through the entire scalp.  Unexpected mental trauma such as the death of a close family member, early divorce, illness, significant medical surgery, and a car accident can be major causes of telogen effluvium. Further variables include acute weight loss and deficiencies, hormone dysfunction, allergic reactions, and side effects of treatment.

If you notice drastic shifts such as bald or substantial hair thinning spots, see a doctor for more attention and to determine your condition. When these factors are no longer present, hair follicles may improve the development of hair. New hair growth can be seen in the next 3 to 4 months.
