As the name suggests, the work of any ‘pump’ is the pull liquid from the undergrounds to the surface or help liquid to flow from one place to another considering the inlet and outlet measurements and the pressure give during the pumping. The more you study on pumps you’ll know the variants and different variable under the major variables of various pumps from Multi-stage water pump to centrifugal pumps.

There are two basic types of pumps that can be broadly segregated-

    1. Agricultural Water pumps– The Agricultural pumps are used primarily for the irrigation work on plantations and crop fields to supply water. Primarily in rural areas where the cultivation of different crops are primarily done, the farmers need ample water supply for producing the best crops and for that the heavy performing pumps are installed with long pipes to direct water from the primary source to various fields.
    1. Domestic water pumps– These water pumps are used in residences to supply water in households.

Now, let’s explore some of the major variables of water pumps-

    Centrifugal Pump

As these motorized electric pumps pull out the liquid and move it with centrifugal force, it got its name from there. The pumps are capable of passing thin liquid or low viscosity from the midst of chemicals and solid impurities.

    Submersible Pump

The 100% corrosion-free and self-primed submersible pumps remain submerged under the liquid that they pull. Two primary variants of submersible pumps are

    1. Open well submersible pumps
    2. Tube well submersible pumps

The latter is used for borewell pumping as well.

    Hot water Booster Pumps

Many property owners prefer installing hot water booster pumps for the constant flow of hot water through various outlets in their properties from washrooms to the kitchen and the laundry room at the basements.
