The main causes of the formation of wall bubbles are broken pipes and moisture. Because they are slightly porous, masonry walls easily absorb moisture from the soil or surface, which generates infiltrations, resulting in bubbles. It is important to analyze each of these factors to find the appropriate solution to the problem and avoid further damage to the property’s structure.

The easiest way to identify the cause is to look closely at the bubbles. If they form from the ground to about 1 meter high, it is a sign that the proper waterproofing has not been done, and the problem is being caused by excess moisture in the wall. If the bubbles appear only near the place where there are pipes and valves, it is a sign that there are leaks in the connections.

    How To Solve The Problem?

Identifying the cause makes it easier to find the ideal solution for the blisters on the wall using the best company. If the agent causing the problem is moisture, it is necessary to carry out the correct waterproofing of the wall. Ideally, it should be done during the construction of the property, using waterproofing agents, such as insulating blankets and additives mixed with the plaster mass. However, if it has not been done and the problem has arisen, it is possible to apply the waterproofing agent at the most critical points. It will be necessary to remove the paint and plaster to redo the entire coating with waterproofing agents. If this is the case, check with your customer the wall material and the seriousness of the problem to analyze the best type of waterproofing and application.

If the cause of the problem is leakage, it will be necessary to break the wall at the affected location to replace the damaged pipes and connections. The ideal is to replace with products joined together by a process called thermo fusion, at a temperature above 200 degrees, which will prevent the problem from happening again in the future. It is essential to have qualified professionals for this task, especially if they are hot water installations.

Is it easier to understand the causes and solutions to solve the bubbles on the wall? Now, when a customer shows up at your store with this problem maybe for emergency service, you’ll be better prepared to help them in the best way.
